| The primary objective of the Pasos Sureños project is to improve the life conditions of the Mapuche and other rural families living in communities by providing instructional discussion groups geared towards improved farming techniques, healthcare, hygiene and social awareness. Also proposed are implementing alternative energy sources and experimental farming, where we can teach new techniques, using the recources around, workshops that motivate improving skills to help them find suitable jobs and possible small businesses for self support. We are in the beginning stages of opening our Distribution / Resource Center, where we will be able to hold the instructional workshops, group sessions and organize used clothing and other donated items for distribution in different rural communities. |
